Like most websites, LezPress collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. LezPress also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. This information is not used to identify visitors, however, and does not disclose such information, other than under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information, as described below.
Certain visitors to LezPress choose to interact with the website in ways that require the gathering of personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information gathered depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, visitors who leave comments are required to provide a display name and email address. In each case, LezPress collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with the site. Information is not disclosed other than as described below. Visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.
Comments: When visitors leave comments on the website, the collected data shown in the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string are saved in order to help spam detection as well as monitor and prevent abuse and harassment by visitors.
Aggregated Statistics: LezPress may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its websites. For instance, LezPress may reveal how many visits a particular character got, or say which TV shows are most popular based on checks from our API, a web service used by our WordPress plugins an Amazon Skill. However, LezPress does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.
